***This month Project Codex is teaming up with the Orlando Python User Group to offer a series of intro workshops on Python. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

I'm sure you've all heard of python at some point.

You might think of things like "data science", "machine learning", "automation", or even ... "math" ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

And you're not wrong, Python is good for all of those things. But you're mistaken if you think you need to be a degree-wielding Data Scientist to leverage python's capabilities for yourself.

In this talk, Michael duPont of the Orlando Python User Group is going to explain why Python is so powerful for big data, as well as give an overview of the Python ecosystem and tooling.

Then over the next 3 Sundays, Michael will lead a series of workshops at StarterStudio that will teach you python basics through parsing/cleaning a data-set and serving those results with a web API.

8/18/19 - Workshop 1: Python syntax, working with package management, and creating cli apps.

8/25/19 - Workshop 2: Loading and cleaning data sets with pandas, converting them to a database with SQLAlchemy and SQLite.

9/1/19 - Workshop 3: Building a Flask web server that can serve the processed data to end-users.
