“PROJECT DNA” by Serra Behar

This free, open workshop brings together contemporary art, Portuguese cultural heritage, and social awareness. Artist Serra Behar will introduce her stitching technique; pieces will connect memories and cultures through a shared act of making and care. In addition to the creative process, researcher and conservator Inês Feliciano will share insights into the history, materials, and cultural significance of the azulejos being used, highlighting the heritage embedded in each piece. All are welcome; no previous experience, preparation or special skills are necessary. Come along, meet new people, learn, create and share with us! Stitching cultures together, one piece at a time.
