We are back from Nepal and ready for some adventure! Join us this weekend at Bungonia NP.
Bungonia National Park is located in NSW, roughly 40 kilometres east of of Goulburn and 122 km south-west of Sydney.
We will either meet on Saturday evening at campground or Sunday morning at Bungonia NP - carpark area at the start of the tracks.
NP entry fee $8 per vehicle per day. Daily fees can be paid at the ticket machines at the park office. (unless you have a annual NSW park entry pass).
We are going to be staying at the campsite for 2 nights (Saturday and Sunday night)
You can book your campsite and join us for one or two nights:

DAY 0 - Saturday - arrival at the campsite, dinner, chill by campfire.
DAY 1 - Sunday. We will try to explore a bit along the Bungonia creek towards Jerrara Falls. There might be some water sections, so your shoes might get wet. Descend through red track to the Bungonia Creek.
DAY 2 - Monday - Combination of White and Red track classic loop though boulders and slot canyon. Possibly check out caves and go to lookouts. Drive back to Sydney.

What to bring: Hiking boots / shoes which might get wet, comfortable clothes - check the weather forecast and dress accordingly. Minimum 4l of water and food for the day. Walking poles might be handy on descent to save your knees. Personal first aid kit.
If camping - tent, sleeping mat, sleeping bag, cooking stove, enough food for 2 days, headtorch, camping chairs and table if you have. It's a drive in campsite, so you don't need to pack light.
Fee $50 per person for both days of hiking (it does NOT include vehicle park entry fee and camping fee) - this covers some of our expenses with running this meet up group. RSVP only if you're serious about coming. No refunds unless the event is cancelled or rescheduled by Project Fit Trekker.
We can offer a lift one or two people if keen to share petrol cost. Leaving on Saturday afternoon from St Peters.
See you soon!
