Fortress Creek Falls via Fortress Ridge - Blue Mountains

In the morning we will meet at Leura at Freudian Sip at 7:30am. (shop opens at 6:30am if case you arrive earlier. Grab coffee or breakfast before we drive toward the start of our trek. (it's another 20min drive)

Track leads along the Fortress Ridge, out to the cliffs above the Grose Valley. The views from the lookout and along the trail are superb, with the sheer cliffs and a deep valley to put it all in perspective. Then we continue to the waterfall with infinity pools. Have our lunch there and return same way, possibly explore a bit of Fortress canyon if enough time.

What to bring: Hiking boots / shoes, comfortable clothing, check the weather before and dress accordingly. If you like to jump in the pools bring swimmers and towel. Food for the day and enough water 3L. Personal first aid kit.

Fee $25 per person / or $20 early bird pricing if you book by Thursday - it covers some of our expenses with running this meetup group. RSVP only if you are serious about coming. No refunds unless the event is canceled by Project Fit Trekker.

We can offer lift to one or two people if you're keen on sharing petrol cost. Pick up from Central on Sunday morning.
