Bonnum Pic - Nattai NP

We will meet up at 7:30am at "Station Coffee House" in Mittagong. Grab a quick coffee or something to eat. (Coffee shop opens at 7:00am if you arrive early) Then move to the start of our hike.

From Mittagong it is still a bit of drive about 30min. We will take Wombeyan Caves Road for about 21.5km and then right turn into Wanganderry Rd. It is around 6km from the turn-off to the stock yards and gate. Park here in the turning circle.

Bonnum Pic lies near the end of a spectacular knife-edge ridge that just out into the Wollondilly Valley in Nattai NP. The walk to the Pic has a bit of everything - valley views, on-track walking, off-track walking, rock scrambling (last third of the track) and route finding. The views are truly awesome. Hope we get some nice bush flower too.

What to bring: hiking boots / shoes, comfortable clothes, (I would suggest long pants, some parts might be overgrown). Food for a day and water - minimum of 3 l, there be NO water supply on the way to fill up. Check the weather forecast and dress accordingly. Sunscreen, repellant, personal first aid kit.

We can offer a lift to one or two people if you're keen to share petrol cost. Pick up from Central on Sunday morning.
