Bungonia Gorge - Bungonia NP

Bungonia National Park is located in NSW, roughly 40 kilometres east of of Goulburn and 122 km south-west of Sydney.

In the morning we will meet at Marulan - Meridian Cafe at 8am, to grab a coffee and continue to the Bungonia NP.
NP entry fee $8 per vehicle per day. Daily fees can be paid at the ticket machines at the park office. (unless you have a annual NSW park entry pass, I reckon).

This time we will try to explore a bit along the Bungonia creek towards the waterfalls. There might be some water sections, so your shoes might get wet, depends on how much water is in the creek. Descend through red track to the Bungonia Creek, and same way return, unless we have extra time to go through slot canyon and boulders, then we would climb up via other side of red track.

What to bring: Hiking boots / shoes which might get wet, comfortable clothes - check the weather forecast and dress accordingly. Minimum 4l of water and food for the day. Swimmer and towel. Walking poles might be handy on descent to save your knees. Personal first aid kit.

Fee $25 per person (it does NOT include vehicle park entry fee) / or $20 early bird pricing - this help us cover some the fees and expenses with running this meet up group. RSVP only if you're serious about coming. No refunds unless the event is cancelled or rescheduled by Project Fit Trekker.

We can offer a lift one or two people if keen to share petrol cost. Leaving Sunday morning from Central.
