SYNOPSIS

Enabling change is hard and we are sometimes met with resistance. It can feel like we are moving through quicksand or even at a standstill. Whether you trying to enable change within your project team or in the greater organization it is important to be equipped with ways to cut through this resistance. Let’s strengthen our implementation muscles together.

BIO
Kristina Riis is a fractional Chief of Staff/Chief Operating Officer, Social Impact Crusader and Executive Coach. She has over 20 years of experience in the Investment Industry- with a focus on strategic planning, process engineering and project management. Before becoming a Chief of Staff she lead Project Delivery and the Agile Centre for Excellence at Ontario Teacher’s Pension. Her work in high-performance culture development blended with facilitated design-thinking, cognitive change management and agile methodology has helped leaders and their teams to work purposefully as they create new value and possibilities for their organizations. Known for being able to take any strategic idea and turn it into operational reality through a mix of careful design and planning. Kristina is also an expert in navigating the tricky human dynamics that get in the way of delivering results.

Welcome to Project Managers United Toastmasters!
PMUT Toastmaster club is a unique combination of Project Management and Toastmasters that help people interested in project management become better communicators and stronger leaders.
As a Project Managers United Toastmasters member, you can earn up to 2 PDUs each meeting!
• Earn Professional Development Units (PDU’s) or training credits for PMP certification by attending meetings including the PM Forum
• Earn additional PDU’s or training credits for developing a PM Forum presentation and delivering that presentation in the PM Forum
• Earn valuable Toastmaster designations based on speaking and listening, and leadership accomplishments
Instructions will be provided only after RSVP is received and before the meeting. We use Zoom conferencing. Make sure to check your emails!
Our meetings follow this format:

  • Join the call at 5:55 pm EST (Toronto, Ontario, Canada)
  • Meeting starts at 6:00 pm EST SHARP!
  • Meeting ends at 8:00pm EST

There is no fee to attend this meeting. Reserve your seat for our Heavy Weight PM Speaker Series!

  • As a paid Project Managers United Toastmasters member, you can earn up to 2 PDUs each meeting and receive an official PDU receipt!
