Synopsis

Project management is both a people profession and a discipline of efficient execution. Project managers must balance scope, quality, time, and cost while working with clients, colleagues, team members, executives, sponsors, and other stakeholders who can influence whether a project succeeds or fails.

Artificial intelligence offers project managers powerful opportunities to improve efficiency, but successful project leadership still depends on the ability to build relationships, communicate effectively, understand people, and bring out the best in a team.

In this presentation, Dr. Bill Moylan will explore why excellent project managers need both Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Emotional Intelligence (EQ). Participants will consider how to cultivate the people and relationship skills needed for effective leadership while leveraging AI to support the management of projects and their constraints.
Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of why the future of successful project management is not AI or EQ—it is finding the right balance between them.
