Project Sand Angels World Record Attempt

On May 7th, 2016 from 11am to 4pm at the Narragansett Town Beach, Lions of Rhode Island will attempt to break the world record for "Most Sand Angels Made at One Time." The current world record is held by the "Keep Wales Tidy" organization.

In order for Lions of Rhode Island to capture the record, we need 400 or more people making sand angels. Anyone can participate in the event. Lions, non-lions, elderly, kids, etc.... All you need to do is lay down and make a sand angel.

The reason we are trying to break this record is to raise awareness for the need for adoption of foster children throughout the state of Rhode Island.

We are partnering with Adoption Rhode Island to help in breaking this record.

Please RSVP only if you are coming to the event. We need as accurate numbers as possible.
