We will be introducing projects for you to get involved with during the pitches. There is no group like this on Meetup or in the startup world because we filter out the BS and get you going on a project ASAP. No judges, no winner, and no time-consuming feedback.

If you are looking to start, join, or help a tech startup, this event is for you! Startup founders pitch their business to the audience (similar to Shark Tank). Then, each founder gets a breakout room and you can them to give feedback or continue building it (similar to a hackathon). People have been able to start and advance their business as a result of this process.

This event takes place in our community on Discord - it works best on desktop if it's your first time attending or pitching. Download the app if you are on mobile.

Agenda
3:00pm – 3:10pm
While we wait for people to trickle in, we introduce ourselves and get to know what attendees are looking for.

3:10pm - 3:30pm
5-8 startup founders have 3 minutes to pitch their businesses to everyone - they will tell us their biggest business needs or obstacles. The pitches have no Q&A - any questions can be asked in the breakouts.

3:30pm – onward
Breakout groups open - each founder that pitched gets one. You can choose which breakouts to join to have deeper discussions with the founders

Startup Oasis was created to pierce the illusion of accessibility of startups and tech by creating a grassroots forum for early-stage founders to pitch to those in the tech ecosystem to get real-time feedback for their idea or business.
