Join us for a free live session on why prompts that pass every test you've written still fail once real users get involved.

Drawn from Building Reliable AI Agents, Ali Parandeh's upcoming Manning liveProject series.

In this talk, Ali will cover the reliability gap specific to the prompt and evaluation layer: non-determinism that a handful of test cases won't catch, evaluation setups that look rigorous and measure very little, and prompts that regress quietly the moment something upstream changes.
This session is designed for anyone writing or evaluating prompts for production systems, not just experimenting in a playground.

  • Date: Monday 10 August 2026
  • Time: 6:30pm to 7:30pm (1 hour)
  • Location: Online (Free)

We'll cover:

  • Why a prompt passing your test set tells you less than you think
  • Evaluation approaches that surface real failure modes, not vanity metrics
  • Prompt regression: catching it before your users do
  • Where guardrails belong in a prompt-driven system
  • A preview of the upcoming Building Reliable AI Agents Series (Manning, 2026)

No coding setup required, this is a talk with live examples.
