About us
This is a casual gathering for people who like to think out loud over a drink (does not have to be alcohol).
The format works best with a small group. We open with a silly, low-stakes debate, something like whether a hot dog counts as a sandwich or a taco, just to warm up and have some fun.
Then we move into a slightly deeper topic, something like how AI should impact education. However it's still meant to be a fun discussion, requiring zero homework beforehand.
The twist: At the end of each topic, everyone has to flip and passionately argue the opposite of whatever side they just took. It sounds ridiculous, but it’s also weirdly the best part; you end up actually understanding the other side instead of just tolerating it.
This format worked really well for me in a previous city and helped me build a genuinely great little community of friends. Hoping to build that same kind of group here.
