Protex AI Meetups - Budapest brings together engineers, builders, leaders, and curious minds applying AI to real-world systems in Budapest.
We focus on the practical side of shipping AI: agents, computer vision, skills, MCP and tool integrations, evals, reliability, and running AI in production. Expect product demos, agentic workflows, engineering deep-dives, and lessons from teams building today.
Sessions mix technical talks with business and product perspectives, so engineers, founders, and operators all leave with ideas they can apply.
Events are in person in Budapest, with pizza, drinks, and time to network.

Harness Engineering: From Single-Player to Multiplayer AI

David will share how Protex AI built Proharness, our in-house harness that adds shared context, workflows, and memory to coding agents. The goals, decisions, and lessons from each project stay with the team, workflows become skills the whole team can reuse, and a teammate can pick up where the last one stopped. The result is a move from individual AI use to shared AI work, and a big increase in our team's throughput.
Computer Vision Meets Harness Engineering: Detecting Speeding Vehicles from a Single Camera

A common question from a site: are my vehicles driving too fast, when, and where? Adam will walk through how we answer it from a single camera, from object detection, tracking, and camera calibration to speed estimation, with speed rules and historical data that our AI agents in Protex Intelligence can reason on top of.
Leaving Agents Alone with Production: Read-Only Access to AWS and Hasura

They are also dangerous when they run with an engineer's full read-write credentials. Geri will show how we sandboxed agent access to AWS and Hasura, with read-only roles and a macOS sandbox, enforced by the platform, not by the prompt. He will cover the threat model we designed for: a buggy, prompt-injected, or malicious agent.
