1.5 day design thinking & prototyping competition.

Participants compete to solve a specific real world problem through rapid prototyping and design thinking. Think Hackathon without the code, making this event accessible to everyone!

Topic and problem space will be announced 24 hours before the beginning of the event.

3 Main Awards with Prizes:

• Best Prototype

• Most Innovative Concept

• Best Presentation

Schedule

Friday evening:

6:30-7 Check-in

7-8 Panel discussion introducing a problem space. Panel is comprised of Subject Matter Expert, Real/Potential User and a Professional Designer

8-10 Workshop introducing design thinking and rapid prototyping with time for collaboration and ideation with other participants. This workshop concludes with the formation of groups

Saturday:

9-10 Breakfast and networking

10-8:30pm Participants work on prototypes

8:30-10 Presentations, judging and awards.
