Building a Terminology Mapping Solution using Amazon Neptune

Details
Hello Providence AWS User Group Members,
We are excited to invite you to our next informative session on AWS technology on Thursday, May 30th at 6 PM ET. This session will focus on “Building a Terminology Mapping Solution using Amazon Neptune.”
Topic Overview:
Identifying and reporting adverse events (AEs) during clinical trials and post-approval phases are critical for ensuring long-term product safety. Regulatory agencies mandate the prompt reporting of serious adverse events to product manufacturers. Pharmacovigilance, the process of collecting, detecting, assessing, monitoring, and preventing adverse effects of pharmaceutical products, plays a crucial role in this.
In this session, our speaker will demonstrate how customers can enhance their pharmacovigilance processes. The discussion will cover accelerating the collection, transformation, analysis, and enrichment of data from sources like call centers. We'll explore identifying AEs, mapping them to appropriate ontologies such as MedDRA, and visualizing the results as a precursor to processing for submission to regulatory authorities.
About the Speaker:
Our speaker for this session is Vaijayanti Joshi, an AWS Enterprise Cloud Architect for Oracle. Vaijayanti is passionate about technology and enjoys helping customers find innovative solutions to complex business challenges. Her core focus areas include healthcare, Machine Learning, and Analytics. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys biking, swimming, and exploring new places.
