RI Computer Museum @ Virtual PVD Geeks

For March, Providence Geeks is once again taking a virtual road trip back in time. We'll be getting together virtually at the Rhode Island Computer Museum (RICM). The RICM is currently restoring two Wang LOCI-2 calculators from the mid 1960s. This presentation will describe the calculator's architecture including one of the major differences compared to the competing HP calculators from the time. We will also show how the calculator is built, and demonstrate how to operate it.

It's totally casual. Wear whatever to the virtual meeting and feel free to bring a “retro show and tell”. Although there won't be a virtual food vendor, RICM encourages you to support made in Rhode Island restaurant takeout!
