What we’re about
We’re a group of card enthusiasts who like to try out new games from all corners of the world and share our favourites with new friends.
Group events typically start with learning a new game—or refreshing rules if we've played before—then jumping in and playing for a while.
Though the games we play may be unfamiliar at first, they usually share something in common with popular games like Bridge, Rummy, or Hearts, so new players should be able to catch on quick. If you've never played any of those games either, that's fine too! Card players are quite friendly and enthusiastic to teach their favourite games.
Some favourites we've discovered in the group are Jass, French Tarot, and Briscola Chiamata. Rules to these and many other card games can be found on the excellent website [Pagat.com](https://www.pagat.com/).
