What we’re about
Founded in 2018, Psanctum is a nonprofit psychedelics research, education, and harm reduction organization located in Portland, Oregon.
Psanctum publishes educational articles and videos, curates an online digital archive, and hosts events like the Psanctum Speaker Series, the Psanctum Psychedelic Conference, monthly integration circle, and the weekly Psanctum Open Mic. We also operate Psanctum Thrift, which raises funds for psychedelic-assisted therapy, education, integration, and support. Psanctum also features an onsite Psychedelic Education Center, which is currently archiving the last materials of the Timothy Leary collection.
We believe psychedelic experiences have the power to heal, inspire, and liberate the human mind, body, and soul. But these substances are only as powerful as our ability to understand, integrate, and support them. Psanctum works to contribute towards building a society where psychedelic experiences, education, and the strong communities necessary to process them, are accessible to all.

See all- Heart Chakra-Focused Sound Bath with Sound & Shadow CollectivePsanctum Thrift, Portland, OR
Join Sydan Aguacielos and Anastasia Darkwater of Sound & Shadow Collective for their reiki-infused, Heart Chakra-Focused Sound Bath.
This is an hour to give yourself to connect with your heart and magnify, align with and/or alchemize beneficial energies with our Universe.
Calm your nervous system, relax (you could even nap if you want to) and connect with others, if you so choose.
There will be an opportunity to gather together for conversation afterward, if that interests you.
Bring your own nest, water and anything else for comfort: stuffies, journals, tarot, crystals...
We open and close with ohming with the shruti box and voice and finish with light somatic movement to re-energize for the day.

My name means 'heart' in Finnish.
I focus on the heart chakra because it is the loving bridge between the lower and upper chakras and it helps us connect to ourselves and each other. Also, the heart itself is the first organ that develops as we grow into baby humans from embryo in the womb. I firmly believe that the healing and alignment of our own heart chakras can and will lead to a better life experience for everyone. After spending more than 3 decades in the Tech industry, I started looking into healing modalities that also connected us with spirit and became interested in sound and voice healing. It quickly became the preferred way for me to continue on a journey of healing and discovery that I was already on. I found it so powerfully affective that I decided to share it.
By hearing, heeding and finally acting on the call of Source upon my life, my mission is as follows:
To provide support and sound healing facilitation to all who desire to connect deeply to themselves and othersFor more info visit https://msha.ke/songsofanahata/
