Imjingak Tour 2020

North Korea through a defector's eyes: Imjingak park and view of North Korea
PSCORE welcomes you to join our second Imjingak tour of 2020. Guided by a North Korean defector, we will visit the Odusan Unification Tower to get an extraordinary view of North Korea. After that, we will have lunch, and then enjoy a tour of Imjingak Park. Throughout this adventure, our North Korean guide will tell us all about her experience fleeing the North and about her new life in the South.
This trip will provide participants the chance to remember the 70th anniversary of the Korean War and why peaceful reunification is necessary for the Korean peninsula. All we ask is that participants share pictures and stories of the tour on their social media.

Date: Saturday, November 14th

Number of participants: 20 (for precautionary measures regarding COVID-19, the bus will only carry half of its capacity)

Where: Odusan Unification Tower & Imjingak Pyeonghwa Nuri Park(small speech event with a North Korean defector)

SCHEDULE IS TENTATIVE

탈북자의 시각으로 바라보는 임진각과 북한
탈북자의 시선으로 바라보는 북한에 대한 임진각 방문에 초대합니다. 탈북자의 안내를 받아 오두산 통일전망대를 방문해 북한을 볼 예정이다. 북한을 멀리서나마 바라볼 수 있는 검단사에서의 산책도 포함 됩니다. 맛있는 점심을 제공해 드리고, 임진각 평화누리 공원을 함께 둘러봅니다. 동행하는 탈북민 가이드가 탈북스토리와 남한의 새로운 생활에 대해 이야기하는 자리를 마련할 것입니다.
이번 임진각 방문은 한국전쟁 70주년을 맞아 한반도의 평화통일을 다시한번 생각해 보는 좋은 기회가 될 것입니다. 참가자들과 함께 SNS에 평화통일에 대한 소개글도 함께 올릴 예정입니다.
