ENCORE EVENT! Our first event was such a success that we are hosting an encore event.
You've probably heard countless accounts of impoverishment and hardship in North Korea. But can you imagine that there's an elite class in North Korea who had more than their fill during a national famine or who had the ability to watch popular foreign films when the rest of the nation has just one censored radio station to listen to?
Come join PSCORE (People for a Successful COrean Reunification) (Monday, July 17th, 6pm-8pm Korea Standard Time), as we invite a North Korean refugee to come speak about his experiences. He'll talk about what it's like to be part of the North Korean politically elite, his views on Kim Jong Un, North Korea's violation of human rights, and what the future looks like. We're hosting this event again after the success of the first event! If you missed it, come out this time.
북한의 고난과 빈곤에 관한 이야기는 많이 들어보셨으리라 생각합니다. 하지만 북한의 엘리트 그룹은 고난의 행군(북한의 대기근) 시기에도 배불리 잘 살았으며, 대부분의 인민들이 통제된 하나의 언론만 볼 때에도 외국의 영화와 문화를 마음껏 누렸습니다.
저희 성통만사 (성공적인 통일을 만들어가는 사람들)는 평양 출신의 탈북민 엘리트 한분을 초청해 강연회를 7월17일 진행 합니다.
북한 상류층의 삶, 북한 엘리트들의 김정은에 대한 시각, 인권침해, 그리고 북한의 미래를 주제로 이야기 할 예정입니다.
