PSGCNJ is a volunteer nonprofit organization for professionals in career transition. All our services are free. We've been an independent nonprofit since 2012.
This employment community is built around three primary activities: weekly meetings, job search training and volunteering to keep skills fresh and learn new ones. These are opportunities where professionals can build new and lasting relationships.

General Membership meetings feature a guest speaker who teaches our professionals how they can improve their job-search strategies and tactics every week.
Job search workshops during the first week of every month
Accelerated Career Training (ACT) workshops instruct members how to navigate today’s job market in a comprehensive program. Five modules across two and a half days cover:
1. Employment Orientation, 2. Communications, 3. Networking, 4. Resumes & Cover Letters, and 5. Interviewing
Advanced training workshops offered once a month

Walt is the developer of the Interview Success Workshop and currently volunteers as an Interview Success Coach, helping job seekers develop skills to effectively present themselves and stand out in interviews. He has coached over 1,500 people and frequently presents on interviewing topics to job-search groups.
Before retiring, Walt had a 38-year career in Information Technology, including 25 years at Electronic Data Systems in technical and leadership roles, followed by consulting and managing IT services for over 40 colleges and universities in Texas.Please stay for our "Ask Maya" Q&A Segment:
