What we'll do:

This event will feature the following presentations:

Talk #1: The Duality of Python
Speaker: Jeremiah Paige
Description: You may have learned that in Python, everything is an object. This is true; even primitive data like integers or stack frames are objects. You may also have learned that the base type of every object is type. This is also true. But these two truths seem to be in conflict with one another. Join me as I explore some of Python's most fundamental built-ins and try to reconcile the question: how can `object`'s type be `type` while at the same time `type` inherits from `object`?

Lightning talk: From Good to Great: Upleveling Your Operational Skills
Speaker: Dhiren Navani
Description: This talk shares practical tips for engineers to create a culture of operational excellence. This would include things to do during oncall, operational reviews/handoffs or incident post- mortems. This talk does not intend to cover what it takes to create an optimal oncall process, rather tries to help senior engineers be effective at building a culture of operational excellence.

Talk #2: Taking agents from demo to prod
Speaker: Vaibhav Gupta
Description: The most amazing thing that has happened in the last 5 years has been the advent of GPT models. Yet, 2 years later, we still have so few AI applications actually able to ship to production that we all trust. I'll go over the techniques we've seen that has helped companies (from Fortune 500s to small 2 person teams) take AI from concept to prod by 2 weeks. How to cut scope, set expectations, and build and e2e product that works reliably.
