Talk #1: Client-side Python with Pyodide
Speaker: Frank Seidl
Description: Explains the basic difference between client- and server-side computation in web development, why one might want to run Python code client-side, and how wasm Python interpreters like pyodide allow this. Explores an example of a static website whose functionality is based in Python with a Javascript exterior.
Lightning talk: ELI5: typing.Generic
Speaker: Andrew Beyer
Description: A slack thread in talk form: someone on the ChiPy slack asked for an intro to generics, and I wrote up a thread. It's fallen into the pit of slack message expiration, so this is it in talk form for posterity.
