This inaugural event will be a roughly six hour circular hike in the hills and forests around Lisbon, meeting in front of Pizza Hut next to Sintra Train station. The primary purpose of the event is to connect with nature - its fauna and flora - and other people through a mindful exploration of nature’s beauty under the gentle influence of nature’s fungal bounty. Please bring: a picnic, water, warm clothes (it can get chilly in Sintra) and anything that might help enhance your connection to the environment (such as binoculars etc.)
This is a minimum cellphone-use event so it’s kindly requested that you restrict phone use to activities related to the hike, such as taking photos of nature or accessing nature apps.
This event is Free. But a €10 contribution is requested to cover costs.
