Psychedelic Nature Hike MONSANTO PARK [Updated Location! Please see notes!]

Due to the extension of the rail strike, and the consequent disruption of train services to Sintra, this event will now take place in Monsanto Park (Parque Florestal de Monsanto.)

This inaugural event will be a roughly six hour circular hike, starting at Parque Eduardo VII, passing along the ‘Green Corridor’ (Corredor Verde) to the park where the hike proper will begin, stopping for lunch at a friendly, traditional (cheap) tasca in the park (so no need to bring a picnic.)

The primary purpose of the event is to connect with nature - its fauna and flora - and other people through a mindful exploration of nature’s beauty under the gentle influence of nature’s fungal bounty. Please bring: water, suitable footwear and anything that might help enhance your connection to the environment (such as binoculars etc.) and sunblock.

This is a minimum cellphone-use event so it’s kindly requested that you restrict phone use to activities related to the hike, such as taking photos of nature or accessing nature apps.

This event is Free. But a €10 contribution is requested to cover costs.
