Psychedelic Prep & Integration Circle

Come join us on Sunday, May 19th 12pm-2pm for our monthly preparation & integration session.

Prep and integration are two sides of the same coin. Techniques for preparation can help unlock mysteries during the integration phase, while experiences shared by others in an integration circle can help reveal what may lie ahead. It’s never too late to prepare, and it’s never too early to integrate.

Integration does NOT just occur in the few days or weeks following a journey. It is a lifelong process! Some say true integration doesn’t actually begin till 2-3 months after a psychedelic experience – not till the pink cloud effect has worn off and you’re fully integrated back into “normal” life. That’s when the rubber really hits the road!

Prep and integration support among community has many benefits that can help illuminate synchronicities and gifts that can come before a journey, while providing a safe space for you to continue receiving the benefits of psychedelic work by following through on the guidance offered by the medicine.

Benefits of group prep and integration:

· Neuroplasticity - the opportunity to refire neurological pathways in new and novel ways that support growth and expansion. “Neurons that fire together, wire together.”- Neuropsychologist Donald Hebb

· Holding reverence for and practicing being in right relationship with the medicine.

· Holding space for what arrives prior to a psychedelic experience.

· Practice cultivating space for receiving ongoing gifts long after the psychedelic experience is over.

· Connecting with others who “speak the same language.”

· Feeling seen and heard amongst your peers.

· Engaging in the long and slow process of learning how to walk in the world as though every day is sacred.

This will be a smaller, more intimate gathering with the intention of creating a safe circle that allows time for all to share and connect. Please RSVP.

ALL ARE WELCOME! It doesn’t matter if it’s been a long time since your last journey. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never worked with psychedelics. We are ALWAYS being called to integrate the lessons of life.

It’s recommended to allow yourself extra space and time after our gathering. Things may come up that deserve to be sat with gently.

Donations are welcomed to help support and expand Psychedelic Society of Asheville events and operating costs (website development, rentals for meetings, PSA stickers, informational pamphlets, etc.). Donations can be made in cash or via the CashApp with the username $psychasheville or by clicking the donate button on the Meetup page.

Sometimes Google maps misdirects our location. Off of rte 26 we are exit 9 (not 3!). Follow the exit directly onto rte 19 and make your 2nd right onto California Creek Rd. You will pass an old lumber mill on your right hand side. Follow the road for about 200 yards past 2 White Houses and make a right hand turn just after a tiny bridge into our home. You will see a stone mailbox with Cruz Family in the entrance.
