Samsara: A Psychedelic Dance Celebration ✦ EP Release Party

The Psychedelic Society of Asheville is honored to join forces with Global Psychedelic Week to celebrate the visionary sounds and creativity of some of Asheville’s most gifted electronic music producers. Because psychedelics aren’t only about the landscapes within, they’re about the spaces we create together.

Dance itself is a living, breathing form of psychedelic experience, a technology of transformation that grounds us in the body while expanding us beyond it. Through movement, rhythm, and shared ecstatic experience, we open portals to deeper connection, healing, and imagination.

We’re thrilled to bring our community together to celebrate the magic of music, art, and collective movement while partnering with and spotlighting Global Psychedelic Week (Nov 3-7), a seven-day journey of online and in-person events all over the world, dedicated to uniting the global psychedelic community. GPW's goal is to foster collaboration, share knowledge, and strengthen the bonds within the psychedelic industry through showcasing expert speakers, facilitating interactive discussions, and providing insights into global psychedelic culture. On Friday, November 7th, at Asheville's newest music venue Revival, we dance. As we awaken something ancient within us, we are reminded that joy, creativity, and connection are all powerful medicines. This gathering is more than a party, it’s an invitation to co-create a more luminous, connected, and inspired way of being in the world. There will be an immersive quadraphonic 360° sound system that will serve as an exquisite container to collectively receive the music through. A sonic cocoon of sorts.

Here’s a glimpse into the artists who will be performing:

• Pathwey fuses cutting-edge sound design with immersive, genre-bending composition. His tracks layer organic textures and mind-bending basslines over evolving rhythms, traversing psychedelic dubstep, drum & bass, ambient, and world-inspired electronica. Explore his sound here.
• Murkury loves performing with his Undergrowth friends, playing vinyl, taking sound baths and pushing the limits of what constitutes a dubstep journey. He is on a mission to create uplifting sonic experiences and explore the conflux of deep dubstep and psychedelic music. His tracks pulse with hypnotic rhythms, layered synths, and immersive detail, evoking both physical intensity and meditative depth. Listen here.
• Numatik: Hailing from the mountains of Asheville, NC, Numatik is a visionary musician and producer renowned for his captivating fusion of world, electronic, and experimental genres. Through his immersive compositions, he weaves together intricate and powerful rhythms, textured soundscapes, and organic instrumentation to create a truly unique and soulful auditory experience. • Sayka: Bandcamp
• DJ 2c project creates a space where everyone can feel beautiful, empowered, and unapologetically alive on the dance floor by merging the late-night pulse of the Miami music scene with Asheville’s free spirit creativity. It’s club culture with heart, community through rhythm, and a touch of wild glamour. Performing her first live mix at Samsara!
