Reading from his new eco-memoir MOTHERSHIP, Greg will be in conversation with [Keith Gilmore](https://keithgilmore.com), President of Portland Psychedelic Society.

Weaving together memoir and cutting-edge science, MOTHERSHIP is both a queer coming-of-age story and a deeply researched account of how coral reefs and ayahuasca helped Greg heal from complex PTSD—and awakened him to the need for us to heal the planet as well.

Highlights:

A former Stegner Fellow at Stanford, Greg Wrenn is the author of *[Mothership: A Memoir of Wonder and Crisis](https://bookshop.org/p/books/mothership-a-memoir-of-wonder-and-crisis-greg-wrenn/20576199?ean=9798888452141)* and *Centaur*, which was awarded the Brittingham Prize in Poetry. HIs work has appeared or is forthcoming in *HuffPost, The New Republic, Al Jazeera, The Rumpus, Kenyon Review*, and elsewhere. As an associate English professor at James Madison University, he weaves climate change science into literary studies. A student of ayahuasca since 2019, he is a trained yoga teacher and a PADI Advanced Open Water diver, having explored coral reefs around the world for over 25 years.
