Psychedelics and Buddhism -- Micro-dosing & Meditation talk

Details

🌟 Special Event: Micro-dosing & Meditation. A talk by Michael S. Kelly. 🌟

Michael recently published a study Exploring Psilocybin Microdosing and Meditation as an Intervention for Anxiety and Depression.

In recent years, psilocybin-assisted therapy and mindfulness practices have emerged as powerful tools for mental health. But what happens when we combine them?

Join us for an engaging discussion with Michael on an informal study that explored the effects of psilocybin microdosing paired with daily meditation. Over two weeks, participants with mild to moderate anxiety and depression integrated mindfulness practices with sub-perceptual doses of psilocybin. The results? Promising reductions in anxiety and depression, along with key insights into dosing, sleep, and the brain’s Default Mode Network.

We’ll dive into the study’s design, early outcomes, and how future research could unlock new, accessible ways to support mental well-being. Whether you’re curious about psychedelics, mindfulness, or innovative mental health approaches, this talk will spark meaningful conversation.
