EDUCATION PROGRAM
Every 2nd Wednesday
Wednesday, Aug 12th Topic: "Find Your Facilitator" (details below)
The Education Program features guest speakers, presentations, panels, screenings, and community learning opportunities exploring psychedelics, consciousness, healing, science, culture, ethics, and related topics. These evenings are designed to make psychedelic education more accessible, thoughtful, and community-centered while welcoming both newcomers and longtime community members alike.
Programming may range from introductory conversations to deeper explorations of emerging research, lived experience, and diverse perspectives from across the psychedelic ecosystem. Each gathering offers an opportunity to learn, reflect, ask questions, and engage in meaningful dialogue within a supportive community environment.

Thinking about working with a psychedelic facilitator - but not sure where to begin?
Join Portland Psychedelic Society for an interactive evening designed to help you better understand Oregon's facilitator landscape and connect directly with licensed professionals in a welcoming, educational setting.
The evening begins with a short presentation covering what psychedelic facilitators do, how Oregon's regulated program works, what training and ethical standards to look for, and the questions everyone should consider before choosing someone to support their journey.
Then, you'll have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with facilitators from across the Portland area through a series of informal, timed conversations. Ask questions, explore different approaches, and gain a better sense of who might be the right fit for your goals—all in a low-pressure environment focused on education rather than sales.
Whether you're actively considering a facilitated experience, supporting a loved one, or simply curious about Oregon's emerging psilocybin services, this event offers a unique opportunity to learn directly from the people doing the work.
