What we’re about
For everyone interested in Psychoanalysis, Creativity and the Arts!
The Psychoanalysis, Creativity and the Arts Program from the Washington Baltimore Center for Psychoanalysis (WBCP) organizes live lectures and live conversations with experts (online due to the health emergency) as well as post-show conversation panels after diverse artistic performances such as theater, music, dance, visual and plastic arts, film, poetry, literature, culinary arts, martial arts, and other artistic and cultural events.
The aims of the Psychoanalysis, Creativity and the Arts program are facilitating dialogues between artists, psychoanalysts and the community; enhancing our understanding from psychoanalytic perspectives about the intrapsychic and interpersonal processes that make creativity and art possible, and developing new ways in which Psychoanalysis, Creativity and the Arts can expand and deepen our understanding of ourselves.
Everyone interested in Psychoanalysis, Creativity and the Arts is invited to attend! In addition, if you are a clinician, our program offers clinical continuing education credits CME/CE. Members of the Washington Baltimore Center for Psychoanalysis (WBCP) can enjoy discounted fees. Please contact for more specific information!
