Aurelia Young, writer and daughter of the sculptor Oscar Nemon will talk about her father’s life and work, particularly his work and friendship with Sigmund Freud, Anna Freud, Ferenczi, Klein, Winnicott as well as influential political figures. She will share fascinating anecdotes, and unique photographies and videos that portrait the historical moment, followed by a lively conversation with the audience.
Her fascinating book “Finding Nemon: The Extraordinary Life of the Outsider
Who Sculpted the Famous” is available for purchase online at multiple bookstores. Reading it before the lecture is encouraged but not required.
