Ayurveda for the Mind
Simple Ayurvedic practices to support wellness professionals and their clients
Ayurveda is a 5,000 year old system of holistic medicine from India that establishes harmony in the body, mind, and soul through herbs, diet, lifestyle, and a variety of body therapies. In Ayurveda, the senses play a central role in contributing to both our balanced and imbalanced states. What we see, hear, touch, smell, and taste and how we perceive and process this external stimuli is ultimately what shapes and creates our physical and mental health.
In this workshop, we will learn to integrate all of our senses to achieve balance and a peaceful state of mind. The workshop will begin with a brief introduction to Ayurveda and the Doshas, and then interactive sensory experiences to learn how to shift our state of mind and outlook.
