About us
Stories that Linger is a relaxed, welcoming group for people who enjoy stories that stay with you - emotionally, thoughtfully, or unexpectedly!
We meet to attend films, plays, and performances together, gathering beforehand to say hello and connect.
Afterward, we will have an informal conversation about what resonated, intrigued, or continued to echo after the curtain fell or the credits rolled.
There’s no need to prepare, analyse, or have prior knowledge.
We’re more interested in personal responses, shared reflection, and hearing how a story landed differently for each of us. Listening is just as welcome as speaking.
If you enjoy being moved by film or theatre, are curious about other perspectives, and appreciate thoughtful but easy-going conversation in friendly company, this group offers a space to experience stories together, and see what lingers!
