We gather every week for an evening of discussion and personal storytelling, centered around topics related to psychology, existence, emotional well-being, and self-development. During the discussions, we prefer to focus on genuine human connection and the topic itself rather than alcohol consumption; therefore, we always meet at cafés.

The topic for this week will be Values and Relations.

Values are something that is often mentioned, but what do we mean when we speak of them? How do you define values as an individual? What about as a group? Is everyone aware of their values, and furthermore, does everyone have them? Do some people have a stronger/weaker set of values? Why is that?

Along with the discussion of values, we might run into the topic of group dynamics. How do our individual values affect our interpersonal relationships? Do they shape the dynamics in the groups we are part of? Is it always necessary to have similar values within a group? How come certain groups are more friendly to some, but not others?

How do our values show on a smaller scale, such as within friendships, romantic relationships or mentor/student dynamics?
