Dog Trainer Q & A: Stress & Canine Emotional Detox

Welcome to Dog Trainer Q & A with Jen G. Pywell, CPDT-KA.

This session's focus will be on canine stress and introducing the canine emotional detox.

If your dog is experiencing stress, reactivity or fear of people, other dogs or new things and you are noticing challenging behaviors like barking and lunging, excessive barking, cowering, avoidance or increased stress or anxiety, then you are invited to join this helpful question and answer session with a certified dog trainer.

If your dog is too stressed they may not be able to succeed in their dog training plan. It is something necessary to address the underlying cause of your dog's stress before starting training. One powerful way to reduce stress and calm your dog's nervous system is a stress vacation for your dog.

Join other dog parents experiencing some of the same challenging dog behaviors. Learn simple ways to reduce your dog's stress and fearful reactions. Understand how to support your dog when they are experiencing a fearful or reactive episode. Find out what a canine emotional detox is and how it may benefit you and your dog.

This will not focus on aggression (attacks of people or dogs) or separation anxiety.

The purpose of this session is to educate and inform dog parents about specific dog training concepts and methods. Specifically a canine emotional detox.
