This is the perfect opportunity to connect with fun people while having delicious food and listening to live Balkan folk music. Nach über 20 Jahren als Opern- und Konzertsängerin liegt mein Fokus heute auf dem „Heilsamen Singen“. Mir liegt am Herzen, das Singen wieder in unseren Alltag zu holen. Weil es uns mit unserem innersten Menschsein verbindet, weil es Herz und Seele berührt – und weil es ein kleiner, aber kraftvoller Beitrag zu mehr Freude, Wärme und Menschlichkeit in unserer Welt ist.

Unser internationales Sprachcafé richtet sich an Alt- und Neu-Berliner\*innen, Reisende und Anwohner\*innen - alle sind willkommen! Bei heißem Tee und Kaffee und frischen Waffeln könnt ihr mit Menschen aus aller Welt ins Gespräch kommen. Um das Eis zu brechen, haben wir verschiedene Spieleinheiten vorbereitet - wie zum Beispiel ein Kennlern-Bingo, Impro-Theater-Übungen und ein kleines Berlin-Quiz. Selbstverständlich ist die Teilnahme an den Spielen freiwillig und ihr könnt euch gerne einfach gemütlich unterhalten. Hi lovely people, This Saturday is outdoor Jam Session No. 1 in Rehberge Park this year! Come around to chill and play with us. We have some basic instruments: drum set, bongos, congas, electric guitar, PA & mixer. Feel free to bring your own instruments and we'll plug you in! There will be cold/warm beverages and cake provided by our friend of Initiative Parkcafé Rehberge. At the Rehbergepark jams, musicians and listeners come together to float in the music. For one afternoon, the Parkcafé Rehberge will become a place for experimentation and free music-making without any barriers in a relaxed atmosphere. German thrash metal gods Kreator descend upon Berlin with their friends Exodus and Carcass, two more of metal’s biggest figures. It’s a big lineup with big riffs, bigger energy, and the biggest pedigree Berlin has seen this year. Picture the Grand Ball scenes like you’ve seen in period films such as “Pride and Prejudice”, where the dancers are lined up in long lines, across from each other. That’s English Country Dancing, the predecessor of contra dancing. Now, add moves like “swing your partner” and “do-si-do,” like you’ve seen in square dancing. Set it to fabulous, high energy, live music with fiddles, guitars, percussion and more, alá “Riverdance.” Finally, set the whole scene down in the middle of Woodstock, with a hip, groovy atmosphere, a bit of tie-dye, and hints of counter-culture attitude. THAT’s Contra Dancing! Wear cool and comfortable clothes (you will get warm) and clean shoes that won't mark up our nice wood floor. Be sure to come for the beginner's lesson from 7:30 - 8:00, followed by dancing 8:00 - 10:30. All dances are taught; we will help you learn! Beginners always welcome, no need to bring a partner. The Alliance is part of the Greater Central Ohio Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society. We are an all-voices chorus dedicated to providing an inclusive environment for all those who love to sing, regardless of their race, gender identity, sexual orientation or musical background. The Alliance is the first and only all-voices barbershop chorus in Central Ohio. **Who:** Anyone with a passion for singing at a high level.
