Hi Badminton Fans! Come and join us every Sunday for a fun session of badminton. There are usually 2 sessions to choose from. **This session is open to intermediate level players and above ONLY.** What that means is that you should be comfortable with short serves to the T, doubles rotations, and smashes. There is also an open session at 11 am for players of all abilities. See the separate event just above. **Which Session To Choose** If you're unsure of your level, sign up for the 11am session to start or ask us! We try our utmost to ensure that you play with people of similar levels. **What Do You Need** Don't worry about equipment; racquets and shuttlecocks are provided, and there's no need for a badminton license or insurance. Just bring your indoor sports shoes, and a willingness to meet new friends and have lots of fun. There are changing rooms and showers. **Get There Early** Try and get there early to change and get warmed up so that we can start right on time. As a follow-up to our macro class and to get ready for our May and June Field Shoots, we are going to have a macro training "class." I will attempt to work through a number of macro shoots with the group. Those with cameras can try to shoot the same subjects I am shooting. We will start with some small objects and work our way down to smaller and smaller ones. As we photograph each subject, we will consider depth of field, focal plane management, subject composition, background, and lighting. I have no idea how many subjects we will get through, but we will give it our best shot (pun intended!). Bring your camera, whatever macro gear you might have, a tripod if you have one, whatever lighting you may have, etc. This will really be an exercise in seeing what you have, me showing you some ways to approach the subjects, and seeing what works! I am going to add an extra hour to this meeting! CYA There!!!!!
