Welcome to the new virtual format of the Catan meet up. We use Catan Universe to play online. Log on to CatanUniverse.com and be ready to share your username with the group. If you have reached level 3 within Catan Universe, please join the Guild most of us are in called Settlers of Gotham. The most popular platform to play CU is through Steam, although some play via their web browser. At the time of the meetup, first connect to the Zoom link provided to meet everyone. We will share our screen names on Catan Universe and start a game via Catan Universe. We will go to breakout rooms, if we have more than one game going. It is ok to join at any time. We will do our best to accommodate everyone. If you haven't set up an account with Catan Universe, please try to do it before the meet up time as it suggests a tutorial. We recommend completing the tutorial to get gold, suns, scrolls (this will make more sense when you've been on the site a while). I'm excited to see everyone soon! Dodgeball is back again! If you’ve been wanting to come out, this is an easy one to join. We’ll be playing for about 1.5 to 2 hours, you do not need to bring any equipment, and no experience is needed. We use a specific set of rules and equipment to make the games run better and keep them fun for everybody, not just people who already know how to play. If it rains, the event will be canceled.

The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~$20 per person. Soft drink refills are $1 each. Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group! The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play. Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630. Please promptly end your games and clear out the space at 10pm when the bar closes. We encourage socializing but do not permit disruptive behavior of any kind. Thank you for your continued commitment to providing a fun and welcoming space to veteran, newbie, and rookie gamers in the Columbus area. Parking can be challenging. There is a parking lot behind the neighboring Mexican restaurant that is free and easy to walk from but it's a bit hidden.
