Women in Tech Lisbon is a community designed to empower women who are working in tech, have a startup in tech or want to learn more about tech to support each other, learn and grow. This is a safe space to exchange experiences and support an inclusive and progressive ecosystem in Lisbon.
We are part of the Lean In Portugal Network where there are specific circles like this one for women founders https://www.meetup.com/Female-Founders-SUS/.
We believe there is a need for Diversity & Inclusion in the tech space and we are here to help bridge the gap! Therefore, we will have sessions with Women and Men in Technology that want to explore and talk about unconscious biases, why is important to attract and engage more female talent, and how to do this.
We want people from the community to step forward and help to lead, moderate, propose sessions, run workshops, do demos or show off their work. Please contact us (hello@leaninportugal.org) if you want to run one of the meetups or co-host an event with us.
What is a Lean In Circle?
Circles are small groups of women who meet regularly to learn new skills, network, and encourage each other. Circle meetings are a place where everyone can be open and honest about their experiences, skills, and thoughts.
