LeanIn Portugal Book Club Launch

Details
We’re eager to announce the launch of the Lean In Portugal & Lean In Women in Tech Book Club this month, with a book giveaway and a 1st session on Special Characters, by Laurie Segall, a book reviewed as “Inspiring on the personal level while somewhat chilling on the societal one.”
If you’re interested in joining, use this Google form to request your copy.
We only have 20 books to giveaway!
The books will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.
You will receive the book via CTT with time, so you can read it before our second meeting, when we will have a discussion about the book with Laurie.
In case you don’t get a copy, you can purchase Laurie’s book and join us anyway for the discussion, where everyone is welcome.
Laurie Segall is an American journalist, noted for interviewing leaders in technology, including Mark Zuckerberg and Tim Cook, among others, she was the senior technology correspondent and an editor-at-large for CNN for more than a decade. Segall also developed and hosted Mostly Human, an investigative docu-series that explored the impact of technology on sex, love, and death.
In her book, Special Characters My Adventures with Tech's Titans and Misfits, Laurie shares her front-row seat on the rise of Facebook, Twitter, and other new-media empires—and the geeks turned entrepreneurs who founded them in a story of self-discovery and breaking barriers.
Many thanks to our partner Web Summit for getting us in touch with Laurie and supporting this book club.
