Leadership Requirements

• Alliance leaders receive a free membership
• Experience with hosting poetry open mics and all things associated with such
• Experience with leading a writers group  and all things associated with such
• Plugged into various local arts organizations 
• Access to ZOOM, Google meet or some type online private meeting service
• Access or the ability to gain access to locations for in person gatherings

is a group dedicated to celebrating Black expressions through poetry and literature. As an organization we invite poets and indie authors of all ethnicities to join our alliance because diversity bridges differences. Whether you're a seasoned indie author,poet, a first-time writer, or a fan of slam poetry, this is the place for you. Join us for discussions, poetic readings, open mics, and a supportive community of African-American indie authors and poets.

Share your stories, self-publishing tips, and dive into discussions on African American culture. Let's come together to inspire, empower, and uplift each other through the magic of words.We get together to share, get feedback or simply talk about something we’re working on or something we've discovered inspiring for ourselves or others.

We encourage and welcome proofreaders, book editors, indie author book publishers, book publicists once vetted through their business website are allowed within this community.

We get together in person at a variety of locations throughout Alamance, Guilford and Davidson counties of North Carolina or virtually from any place in our world by means of Streamyard,ZOOM or Google meet.Participation in open mics and other types of events within Alamance, Guilford and Davidson counties of North Carolina allows us to showcase our writing abilities before a diverse audience.
This alliance is founded by Alfred Harrell who is Multidisciplinary Creative.

Appearance upon the podcast is subject to Alfred’s availability.
