Pub Psychology - The Lost Art of Dialogue (with Nick Bolton)

Details
Most people aren't really listening to each other anymore, and it seems practically impossible to change anybody's mind these days on topics such as political ideology, vaccinations, diversity or the correct way to make a cup of tea. We seem to hear each others' words, but all too often we enter conversations with a closed mind, ready to defend our position and argue our case. When are we truly willing to learn, to leave behind or allow the other to challenge what we think we know, and to engage in what we might call a true dialogue, where both parties engage with an actually "open mind", to listen to each other, fully prepared to learn, to leave familiar shores, to explore the other's position, and adopt new views if it seems plausible?
In this session, the ever-inspiring and thought-provoking Nick Bolton, Founder & CEO of Animas Centre for Coaching and the International Centre for Coaching Supervision, will be sharing his views on the concept of dialogue and invite us to a conversation about conversations. We'll be exploring what it takes to enter true dialogue, and why it is such a fundamental part of change, transformation and human connection.
