RE: [american-8] US Television in Zürich!

Any thought about listing in local currency?  Some of us are here a long time and will remain.  $159/ month is quite pricey.
We already pay a mandatory (cable) fee of about SFr 30/ month (State Radio and TV Tax)  and the principal service here CableCom is digitalizing many channels so for their box it is SFr 6/ month and I pay an extra SFR 25/mo for movie channels such as TCM and E-Entertainment extra English language channels (British). I can understand the set-up fee, but the monthly fee is steep.
Also in Switzerland, the Swiss channels do air a lot of American series in dual tone, so we can see them in English; however, they are dated - we get them in batches over several weeks and then have to wait.  Licensing fees are high as all go over Germany and the stations have to pay for the German / French language overdub and separately for the original English sound.
We get Jay Leno about a week late, at midnight during the week and at 21:00 hours on weekends.
I would LOVE to get these channels but $159 / month is too steep.
However, I will spread the word for you.
