It's been 16 years since the Bitcoin White Paper made its first appearance on the Cryptography Mailing List by an author identified only by a pseudonym, Satoshi Nakamoto, beginning with the words:

"I've been working on a new electronic cash system that's fully peer-to-peer, with no trusted third party."

But how many of us have read it – actually read it?
