Hi, I’m Lorraine Lane—your new Meetup host and a local executive and business coach.

After a 15-year career in the high-tech world, my entire team and I were suddenly laid off. It was a tough way to start a Monday morning. That jolt became a launchpad: I started my coaching business and, for the past 20+ years, I’ve been supporting small business owners to do more of what they do best, play to their strengths, and get real results.

I’m excited to meet you and honored to step into this leadership role. My goal? To make this group a fun, practical, and encouraging space where you can grow your confidence and skills in presenting—whether that’s on a stage, in a Zoom room, or at your next networking event.

In our first session together, we’ll start with a conversation about how we want to engage here. Because let’s be honest: getting visible through speaking is something almost every business owner wrestles with. And yet—visibility is everything.
