Perfect Pitch is a hands-on workshop designed for entrepreneurs, founders, and idea-stage dreamers who want to refine the way they present themselves and their ventures.
We’ll kick off with a brief talk on what makes an effective elevator pitch: covering key principles like clarity, confidence, and capturing attention. Then, it’s your turn: step on stage and give your pitch in a supportive environment. You’ll receive live, constructive feedback to help you sharpen your message and delivery.

Do I need to have a business to pitch?
Not at all, but you should have something you'd like to share or develop. This event is open to anyone with a business idea, a nonprofit or community project, or even a personal brand to promote. Whether you're an aspiring entrepreneur, a student, or a professional looking to improve how you present yourself, you'll get value from practicing your pitch in a supportive environment.
Do I need to speak in front of an audience?
Yes, you'll be invited to present your pitch in front of the group, but don’t worry, it’s a supportive and encouraging environment. We’ll ease into things with a simple warm-up where everyone shares a quick one-sentence introduction. By the time it’s your turn to pitch, you’ll be more comfortable and ready. Think of it as a safe space to practice, learn, and grow, no pressure, just progress.
What is Toastmasters?
Toastmasters is an international organization dedicated to helping its members improve their public speaking and leadership abilities. There are thousands of Toastmasters clubs around the world and many right here in Montreal.
What Makes Speak With Style Unique?
Speak With Style meets every Thursday evening. We are a fun, friendly and informal club that welcomes everyone, even if you are nervous about public speaking or if English is not your first language. We organize fun meetings and lots of social events.
What If I'm Anxious About Trying Toastmasters?
We try very hard to create a welcoming atmosphere and make everyone feel comfortable. For most of the meeting, you can sit back and watch our members perform their speech projects. We don't force anyone to give a speech, and if you have any concerns, you can speak to the meeting Chairperson, or the member who welcomes you when you enter the room. Toastmasters exists to help everyone overcome the fear of public speaking and become great, no matter what level you start from.
The Speak With Style Toastmasters club is an energetic, supportive and friendly club where most members are either dynamic professionals or students with international backgrounds. Our club is open to anybody who wishes to become a better speaker and leader.
