Saffron & Synapses: An Evening of Taste & Theory
Details
If you’ve ever found yourself wondering whether reality has a secret spice, I have just the evening for you. I’ve reserved a table for eight at Restaurant Tehran, an Iranian oasis tucked away in Paquis. Hopefully each bite — and every conversation — can spark a fresh perspective.
There isn’t any official philosophy planned for the evening. It’ll simply be free-flowing banter. But experience suggests that when curious people sit down together with good food, the conversation tends to wander into interesting territory anyway. Expect lively, intelligent, occasionally ridiculous discussion.
To be crystal clear: there are no secret kebab kickbacks in these reservations. I simply hunt down places with excellent reviews and great discounts so we all benefit — no ulterior motives, just delicious food and even tastier ideas.
A small request about commitment:
This little experiment only works if the people who click “going” also appear in the same physical universe as the rest of us.
So it may not be ideal for enthusiastic maybes, ambitious double-bookers, or those who discover a powerful last-minute bond with their sofa.
An empty seat isn’t just an empty seat — it’s a place that someone else might gladly have taken, and it’s only fair to the restaurant that’s kindly offering us the discount.
So: eight seats, good food, curious minds.
If you’re in, you’re very welcome 😊
See you there!
