We invite you to join us in creating an unforgettable collaboration with internationally acclaimed tango pianist and composer Alejandro Ziegler. Known for his evocative original works and deep respect for tango’s golden age, Ziegler brings a fresh, soul-stirring sound to this beloved genre.
This isn’t just a concert.
It’s not just a class.
It’s an experience.
Together with tango educators Graham Stanford (Puerta al Tango) and Elly Fernandez, a dynamic traveling teacher, we’ll present an event that is part live concert, part musical exploration, and part guided dance immersion. Imagine an evening where the audience doesn’t just hear tango—they feel it, see it, and for those who wish, dance it.
What makes this collaboration unique?
• Original Tango Compositions Performed Live by Alejandro Ziegler
• Historical and Musical Insights into the structure, soul, and evolution of tango music
• Dancers as Storytellers — Graham and Elly will bring Ziegler’s compositions to life with expressive movement
• Dance with Purpose — Guided segments will show students how to interpret and connect with music, not just follow steps
• Listen or Dance — Whether you come to move or to be moved, the evening promises something special for every attendee
This event will be a celebration of musicality, movement, and connection. It offers something rare: the chance to witness how music inspires motion in real time—and how tango, at its heart, is more than a sequence of steps; it’s a living dialogue between sound, body, and soul.
