What we're about

A pug-loving couple started this group in 2003 in hopes of socializing with other pugs and their owners. The first meetup was held in Kakaako Park and consisted of 2 families. Needless to say, the word got out and we grew and grew!

We welcome pug owners and require that puppies must be vaccinated, no dogs in heat and socialized dogs that can be off-leash.

Our goal is to promote the love and well-being of our breed, foster friendships for socialization, educate the public about the responsiblities of pug ownership and ongoing care of the pug.

We vary meetup location and days, we hold potlucks and various activities throughout the year and we welcome input from members.

At the top of the page, under "More" then "Files" there are helpful tips for all pug owners, especially those considering a pug or new to the breed.

We feel blessed to have this breed in our lives and enjoy interacting with others who feel the same way!

We are returning to Waikele for more pug fun and pot luck. Reminders: Bring water and bowl for your pugs. Restrooms are at the recreation center. No dogs in heat. No dog treats and do not feed them from your plate since some are allergic, on special diets or have food aggression, you know how pugs love to eat. All food or personal items need to be on the table or off the ground, our pugs may pee on everything. Bring a chair for yourself. Cost is $1:00 per person, I send this to Dawn for the meet-up site and buy paper goods. If you can bring a table please let me know. Mahalo Cheryl [masked]
